BLACKSBURG – The first issue of Inside Hokie Sports for the 2017-18 academic year has been mailed, and Thursday, the staff launched the latest interactive online version that is free to all fans.

To access the new online version, please click here to get to Inside Hokie Sports’ new web page on hokiesports.com and then click where it says “Read Current Issue.” The online format includes the implementation of video and photo galleries, and it allows readers to bookmark articles, start a slideshow, and share through one’s social media outlets, along with more.

Past issues can easily be accessed by clicking the links at the bottom of the web page, and comments can be emailed using the form in the bottom right-hand corner. Please feel free to reach out with comments about the magazine or ideas for content.

The first issue of Inside Hokie Sports serves as the football preview and includes a position-by-position analysis of the Hokies, as they head into their season opener against West Virginia on Sept. 3. In addition, this issue includes a feature on Cam Phillips, who could break all of Isaiah Ford’s receiving records with a big 2017 season.

This issue also includes previews for men’s soccer, women’s soccer, volleyball and men’s and women’s cross country, plus there are columns from Jimmy Robertson and Jon Laaser and a look at what a group of Tech athletes were doing in Rwanda earlier this summer.

To subscribe to the print version of the magazine or to renew a subscription to the print version, please click here, or where it says “Subscribe” in the top-right corner of the Inside Hokie Sports web page.

The second issue of Inside Hokie Sports for the 2017-18 academic year will be printed and mailed in early October. The online issue will be launched shortly thereafter.
