Hokies head to UNCG for non conference tilt
Tech looks to pick up win on the road

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Virginia Tech men's soccer team will hit the road again to take on UNC Greensboro in an important non conference match on Tuesday evening.

The Hokies boast a balanced offense that has scored six total goals by six different players. Brad Vorv, Dylan Huber, Som Essome, Ian Grubb, Niels Kirch and Ricardo John have all scored goals for the Hokies. Vorv leads the team in points with five on the strength of one goal and three assists.

Ben Lockler and Ben Lundgaard have both played in goal for the Hokies this season. They combine for 21 total saves, a .733 save percentage and a 1.58 goals against average.

The Spartans come into the match with an 0-4-1 record, most recently tying Longwood. The squad has only scored three goals this season and has allowed eight. Three different players have scored for UNCG. Davis Griffin has played every minute in goal for UNCG and has 16 total saves, a 1.48 goals against average and a .667 save percentage.
