2014: Proved to be a viable option for the Hokies off of the bench appearing in 13 games, making two starts... Scored first career goal in a 5-0 victory over VMI.
2013: Redshirted.
High School: Attended Sarasota High School in Sarasota, Fla… A four-year letterman, Grubb was the leading goal scorer during his junior season with 11 goals while also tallying eight assists en route to being named the team’s Offensive MVP… As captain during his senior campaign, Grubb scored 28 goals and amassed 12 assists before being named the team’s Overall MVP as well as All-Area First Team honors… Played club for Strictly Soccer FC.
Personal: Born on Aug. 3, 1994 to parents Barry and Carrie Grubb in Sarasota, Fla… has one sister, Mackenzie… His cousin, Lisa Grubb, won a national championship at Ohio State as a member of their women’s soccer team… Plans to major in mechanical engineering.
