Virginia Tech opens the 2013-14 ACC season at Miami on Sunday afternoon. The Hokies and the defending ACC champion Hurricanes tip-off at 12:30 p.m. in the BankUnited Center. The game will be televised live by ESPNU.

Tech played without its second and third leading scorers, Adam Smith and Ben Emelogu, out due to injuries.

Jarell Eddie scored a career-high 34 points in the win over Winthrop. He also tied a career-high with six three-point baskets.
Eddie’s 34 points is the second-highest point total by an ACC player this season.
Wilson Ties a Record
Devin Wilson recorded a career-high 11 assists in the win over Furman, tying Dell Curry’s Virginia Tech freshman record for assists in a game.
