Virginia Tech vs. Radford Game Notes

Virginia Tech and Radford renew the New River Valley series on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m., in Cassell Coliseum. This will be the first time since 2005 that the two schools have met on the hardwood.

VT 75, Furman 54

The Hokies received contributions from a large portion of the team in a 75-54 win over Furman on Tuesday night.

Five Hokies scored in double-figures, led by 14 points by Jarell Eddie, who recorded his second consecutive double-double.

Marshall Wood scored 13 points and Will Johnston scored a career-high 12 points.

Smith Gets Hot

Adam Smith scored just three points in the first half, but scored 24 points in the second half in the loss to No. 1 Michigan State.

Wilson Ties a Record

Devin Wilson recorded a career-high 11 assists in the win over Furman, tying Dell Curry’s Virginia Tech freshman record for assists in a game.

Eddie Doubles on Doubles

Jarell Eddie has recorded double-doubles in each of the last two games.
