BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Virginia Tech will hit the road on Wednesday night to face No. 5/7 Miami at the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables. The game will tip-off at 7 p.m. and shown on regional sports networks.
About Tonight’s Game
The Hokies are 12-15 on the season and 3-11 in ACC play after defeating Florida State, 80-70, in Cassell Coliseum Sunday evening.
Miami is 22-4 overall and 13-1 in ACC action after an 80-65 loss at Wake Forest on Saturday.
Miami is ranked 5th in the AP poll and 7th in the coaches poll.

Erick Green scored 26 points and C.J. Barksdale recorded a career-high 17 points in an 80-70 win over Florida State in Cassell Coliseum on Sunday evening. Robert Brown added 11 points off the bench.

Erick Green’s 35 points in the home loss to Virginia marks the most points by an ACC player in a game this season. Green has three of the ACC’s eight 30-plus point games this season.
The Hokies have played in four of the six overtime games played this season by ACC teams. Tech defeated Georgia Tech and lost at UNC and at NC State in the only ACC conference overtime games this season.
