2017 All-Southeast Region

2017: Earned All-Southeast Region and All-ACC honors for the first time in her career … Earned a letter in cross country for the second consecutive year … Finished 22nd at the NCAA Southeast Regional meet (6K) with a time of 21:02.2 … Came in 20th at the ACC Championships, running the 6K course in a time of 20:46.8 - the best time of her career at this distance … Finished 106th at the Adidas Pre-National Invitational (6K) with a time of 21:15.1 … Was 36th at the Louisville Sports Commission Classic (5K) with a time of 17:19.13 … Came in second at the Hokie Invite in a time of 14:53.6.

2016: Finished 75th at the NCAA Southeast Regional in a time of 22:06.5 … Was the team's top freshman finisher at the ACC Championships, coming in 43rd with a time of 21:12.4 … Came in 91st at the Penn State National Open with a time of 21:59.0 … Finished 95th at the Greater Louisville Classic (5K) with a time of 18:16.60 … Was 14th at the VT Alumni Invite, running the course in a time of 22:19.60 … Won the Hokie Invite in her collegiate debut, finishing the 4K course in a time of 14:13.90.

High School: Earned four letters in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track at Blacksburg under Coach James DeMarco … A three-time All-Group 3A choice in cross country … Helped her high school team to state championships in cross country during her junior and senior years … Won three state titles as a senior during the outdoor track season, helping her team to a second-place finish at the Group 3A state meet … Won individual state titles in the 800-meter run and the 1,600-meter run and was part of the state championship-winning 4x800-meter relay team … Also won the 800 as a junior … Was the state runner-up in the 500 as a senior during the indoor season … Was part of the 4x400-meter relay team that won the state title during the indoor season of her senior year … Earned All-Group 3A honors as a junior and a senior in the 500 during the indoor season … Earned All-Group 3A honors in four events during the outdoor season in both her junior and senior season … Holds a personal best of 2:14.16 in the 800 and a personal best of 4:50.40 in the mile.

Personal: Born Nov. 8, 1997 in Christiansburg, Virginia … Daughter of Michael and Patricia Richardson … Has two siblings, Dan and Alison … Alison ran track at William & Mary … Majoring in computer science.
