BLACKSBURG - The 2018 Virginia Tech baseball season is the 125th in the program's history, which has prompted the Hokies to commemorate this great milestone with a celebration weekend at newly renovated English Field at Union Park and the deadline for alumni wishing to attend is approaching.
The celebration of 125 years of Tech baseball will run throughout the weekend of April 27-29, 2018 with on-field recognition to take place prior to Game 2 versus Duke on Saturday, April, 28th - a 3 p.m. first pitch. For more information and to register, please visit: http://vthoki.es/BB-125Y. We ask that all alumni RSVP via this link by April 20, 2018 and we hope to see you in there.
The Tech baseball program started in 1892, with its inaugural campaign finishing with a 2-0 record. More than a dozen decades later, the Hokies now compete in the nation’s top conference, has sent countless players to Major League Baseball and, this season, opened a new baseball complex at English Field at Union Park.
Over the years, the coaches, staff, student-athletes and Hokie Nation have been an integral part of telling the Tech baseball story. Tech is hoping our great alumni will join us in Blacksburg to celebrate their legacy as Hokies and the 125th anniversary of Tech baseball and continue to #BuildItInBlacksburg.
