Potential rain forces earlier start time for Friday versus FSU

The Hokies and Seminoles will begin their ACC series now at 1 p.m. on Friday

BLACKSBURG - With the threat of rain developing later in the day tomorrow afternoon, the Virginia Tech baseball team has announced it will change the start time of its ACC home opener against No. 1 Florida State on Friday. The new start time for the game will be 1 p.m. at English Field at Union Park.

The Hokies will send LHP Packy Naughton to the mound while the Seminoles will counter with RHP Cole Sands. The rest of the weekend, at this point, is unchanged - with first pitch on Saturday and Sunday also slated for 1 p.m.
