GREENSBORO, N.C. – A record 144 games involving Atlantic Coast Conference baseball teams will be televised nationally and/or regionally by ESPNU, ESPN2, ESPN3 and RSN (Regional Sports Network) during the 2014 season, which includes Virginia Tech appearing on those outlets at least 16 times.
In addition, all 15 games of the ACC Championship will be televised live for the seventh straight year. The first five days of the tournament, set for May 20 through May 24 at NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro, N.C., will be carried by RSN. The championship game, scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, will be shown nationally by ESPN2.

Tech will appear on national television as the ACC’s Game of the Week on Saturday, May 3 at Georgia Tech – a game time that will now start at 1 p.m. Additionally, the other two games of the series at the Yellow Jackets will be available on ESPN3, as will two games at Clemson (March 7 & 9) and the entire ACC series at North Carolina (April 25-27).
The Hokies have also announced that 15 home games will be available for viewing either through ESPN3 or the athletics department’s HokiesXtra, which means almost half of the games in Blacksburg, can be seen nationally via the Internet. That number includes the entire three-game series against NC State that ends the regular season, which will be on ESPN3.
It was also announced that Tech's game at LSU on Friday, Feb. 21 will be shown on Cox Sports Television, meaning 24 Hokie baseball games will be available through some type of outlet.
