Baseball Night online auction now live
Also, $25 tickets now available for faculty and staff

BLACKSBURG - With the 2014 Baseball Night In Blacksburg just a few days away, the opportunity for persons who are not able to attent the event but would like to bid on some of the auction items is now available.

The online auction site is a way for anyone to view almost a dozen items that will be on display during the silent auction portion of the evening. It also gives the opportunity to place a maximum bid on an item that a person wants and is willing to pay.

The close of the online auction is Noon on Saturday at which time, the maximum bid for each item will be used to assist in winning the item and will not be visible to those in attendance at the silent auction. If an in-person bidder puts down a bid at the auction that is less than the maximum online bid for that item, then a representative from the baseball program will automatically place a bid $10 higher for the online bidder as long as that figure is equal to or lower than the maximum online bid.

It was also announced the offering of $25 tickets to Baseball Night in Blacksburg for faculty and staff. The full details of the event can be viewed here.

All proceeds of the auction and the banquet will go to Virginia Tech baseball and the Hokies’ efforts to improve various aspects of their program.
