BLACKSBURG - Due to the weather that is predicted for the area on Wednesday, Virginia Tech and William & Mary have decided to cancel their scheduled game at English Field. The game will not be rescheduled.

The Hokies, ranked in four different collegiate baseball polls and as high as No. 24 by Baseball America, will now look towards its first ACC series this weekend in Blacksburg.

The team will welcome Georgia Tech, ranked in five polls and as high as No. 14 by Baseball America, to English Field for a three-game series to open up conference play.

First pitch of the series is slated for 5:30 p.m. on Friday night.
