BLACKSBURG, Va. - Virginia Tech baseball returns to the airwaves again this season with 32 regular season games to be carried on SuperSports 101.7 FM. The broadcast schedule opens on Friday, March 11, as the Hokies begin ACC play at Miami in a 7 p.m. contest.
The 2011 broadcast schedule includes all 30 ACC games, both games against Radford, as well as all postseason action. All Virginia Tech baseball games, both conference and non-conference, are also available on the internet on Hokies All-Access.
Coverage begins 15 minutes prior to the first pitch with the pregame show featuring a preview of the day’s action, starting lineups and a look around the ACC. At the conclusion of each game, the postgame show includes comments from head coach Pete Hughes and players.
