BLACKSBURG, Va. — The Virginia Tech baseball team will wear a special St. Patrick’s Day uniform when they take the field vs. Rider on Wednesday, March 17. The green Nike uniforms will feature HOKIES in white with a shamrock in place of the O and a shamrock with a VT logo included on the sleeve. Caps are green with a maroon VT and maroon shamrock on the back.

Following the game, each jersey will be put up for auction on hokiesports.com. The auction will begin at 9:00 p.m., Wednesday night, March 17, and will continue through until Monday, March 22, at 5:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to bid on these jerseys can do so by going to hokiesports.com/auction. There will be a minimum bid of $100 and all orders will have a $25 shipping fee added to the end of the bid. All proceeds will benefit the Virginia Tech baseball program.

First pitch scheduled for 5:30 p.m and admission is free. The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a HOKIES Shamrock Long-sleeve t-shirts.
