High School: Earned varsity letters for three seasons while playing for coach Matthew Cherry at Fishers ... Was a two-time All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference selection as a pitcher and a 2017 First Team All-Hamilton County honoree ... As a senior, was 7-0 with a 0.83 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 50.2 innings pitched and did not allow an earned run in 14 postseason innings ... Helped his team to the state regional final in 2017 after tossing a complete-game shutout in the semifinal round ... The team posted a 27-6 mark, best in school history, and won its first HCC title and its first sectional title along the way ... In his Tigers' career, set the school record for wins with a 15-4 mark and added a 1.68 ERA and 130 strikeouts in 137.2 innings ...
