High School: Earned varsity letters for three seasons while playing for coach Tony Cicalello at Benilde-St. Margaret's ... As a senior, went 6-1 with a 1.15 ERA and 79 strikeouts in 61 innings, while walking just 20 which led to a spot on the MSHSBCA AAA All-State Team ... Also earned his second straight All-Section and All-Conference honors in 2017 ... As a junior, was 4-1 with a 2.05 ERA and 48 strikeouts in 39 innings ...
