Ballpark Security
Police, ushers and event security personnel are stationed throughout the ballpark to provide assistance to fans during baseball games.
First Aid (Defibrillators/AEDs)
In the event of an emergency, please find the closest event staff employee who will help you find an EMT to assist you. For bumps and bruises, the First Aid Station is located beside the ticket office.
This is a service provided by Virginia Tech Athletics and the Virginia Tech Rescue Squad.
Lost & Found
Lost articles should be brought to the marketing table. Items will be held for two weeks after they've been turned in. If you feel your item may have been lost at the ballpark, please call (540) 231-9963 to report or reclaim your lost articles.
Meeting Places
In case you get separated from your family or friends, please plan ahead to have two designated meeting places, one inside the ballpark (such as your gate, seat or favorite concession stand) and another outside the ballpark (such as a predetermined landmark like the Cassell Coliseum bus circle or a parking space). If you need assistance, contact the nearest usher or police officer.
Ticket Information
All non-conference, regular season games are free - no ticket needed
For conference games:
To expedite entry into the ballpark, we recommend that each individual hold their own ticket to optimize scanning procedures. All tickets will be electronically scanned to verify authenticity. Tickets will be scanned as patrons enter the ballpark, and once a ticket has been scanned, it cannot be reused by another guest.
Fans cannot leave the ballpark and be readmitted.
Assistance with any ticket problem can be obtained by contacting the Virginia Tech Athletics Ticket Office at (540) 231-6731 or (800) VA-TECH-4 (828-3244).
Parking & Traffic
GENERAL INFORMATION
Parking is available free of charge on a first-come, first served basis. The lot is located across the street from English Field at Union Park. Improperly parked vehicles or those found in a restricted area will be towed at the owner's expense. Towed vehicles may be claimed by contacting Virginia Tech Police at (540) 231-6411.
Bag Policy
Virginia Tech will limit fans to one clear plastic bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches or a one-gallon, clear, resealable plastic storage bag per person.
Please carefully read the full Prohibited Items list before entering English Field at Union Park.
Fans are also allowed a small clutch purse not to exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Wallets must also conform to this size requirement.
No other bags will be allowed inside. All items, including clear bags and clutch purses, are subject to search at the gates. No items can be left or stored at the gates.

Unmanned aircraft restrictions will be implemented in accordance with state and federal laws; specifically, drone use is not authorized on or above campus without approval from the FAA.

All persons entering the stadium are subject to search. Virginia Tech reserves the right to examine the contents of any container brought into the venue. To protect the safety of our fans, players, officials and staff, the following items are prohibited.
Please do not attempt to bring these or similar articles into the venue. Items will not be stored at the gate or venue for pickup after the game.

Guidelines for English Field at Union Park
The following guidelines apply to all Virginia Tech events at English Field at Union Park:
- No pass-out checks (re-entry) are allowed. In the event of inclement weather, please retain your ticket stub for readmission. If the ballpark is cleared due to inclement weather, you may reenter the ballpark with your ticket stub. Everyone will again be subject to search.
- This ticket is a revocable license for the ticket holder to gain admission to an event sponsored by Virginia Tech Athletics. Virginia Tech reserves the right, without the refund of any portion of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission to or eject any patron from the event venue at any time, for any reason permitted by law.
- Incidents involving lost, stolen or destroyed tickets will be addressed at the Ticket Office with the season ticket holder of record only. Photo identification is required.
- Dates and times on game tickets are subject to change.
- University policies and state and federal laws will be in effect.
- The violation of any rules may prevent admission to a Virginia Tech Athletic event, removal from an event, and jeopardize the violator's admission into subsequent Virginia Tech Athletic events, including the forfeiture of season tickets and the ability to purchase single-game tickets.
Virginia Tech Fan Code of Conduct
Virginia Tech baseball should be an enjoyable experience for all fans. In order to promote athletic excellence and fan enjoyment, we ask for your assistance in displaying a high degree of sportsmanship at all times.
Virginia Tech reserves the right to remove from the ballpark those individuals whose conduct disrupts players, coaches, officials or other fans (e.g., throwing objects, abusive acts or use of vulgar language). NO refunds will be given in these cases. Any person entering the field of play at any time will be subject to arrest.

ATM
There is a Union Bank & Trust ATM located by the elevator on the main concourse.
CLEAR BAG POLICY
To provide a safer environment for spectators, Virginia Tech Athletics has implemented a clear bag policy.
Approved bags:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x12"
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
- Small clutch bag approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap and no larger than 4.5" x 6.5"
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
- Purses larger than a clutch bag
- Coolers
- Briefcases
- Backpacks
- Fanny packs
- Coolers
- Cinch bags
- Luggage of any kind
- Computer bags
- Camera Bags
- Any bag larger than the permissible size
Prohibited items will notbe checked at the gates. Items must be disposed of in the trash containers or returned to one's vehicle.
CONCESSIONS
There are two full-service concession stands located on the concourse. Credit cards are accepted.
ENHANCED BEVERAGES
English Field at Union Park encourage all patrons 21-and-older to please drink responsibly and designate a sober driver. Virginia law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. Therefore, guests will be required to show proper identification and proof of age when purchasing alcoholic beverages. Additionally, guests may not take any alcoholic beverages out of the ballpark, and alcoholic consumption is prohibited in the family terrace section. Guests must receive a 21+ wristband located at an ID checkpoint station in order to purchase alcohol. Concession employees reserve the right to refuse the sale of beer or wine to any patron at their sole discretion. Fans are limited to two (2) alcoholic beverages per transaction. Sales of all alcohol will stop at the end of the 7th inning.
ELEVATOR
An elevator is located behind the ticket office. The elevator is reserved for the use of premium suite guests, press and employees only.
CODE OF CONDUCT
English Field at Union Park is a place for families to come and enjoy themselves in a clean, wholesome atmosphere. Fans are asked to refrain from using foul language while at the ballpark. Offenders may be subject to ejection from the stadium at the sole discretion of Virginia Tech Athletics.
FAN INTERFERENCE
In an effort to protect both fans and players, the English Field at Union Park maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding fan interference with balls in play or any player on the field. Failure to comply with this rule will result in immediate removal from ballpark and may result in prosecution.
FIRST AID
In the event of an emergency, please find the closest event staff employee who will help you find an EMT to assist you. For bumps and bruises, the First Aid Station is located beside the ticket office.
FOUL BALLS
Foul balls can be hit into the stands at any time. Please be alert! At no time should a foul or home run ball be thrown back on the field. Violators will be subject to ejection. Any guest interfering with a ball in play will be subject to ejection from the ballpark. Ticket and suite holders assume all risks and danger incidental to the game of baseball, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to the actual playing of the game, including without limitation, injury from thrown bats, thrown or batted balls, and spectator conduct. Ticket and suite holders agree neither Virginia Tech Athletics nor the opposing team and their respective players and agents shall be liable for injuries or damages caused by such risks. We ask that all foul balls be returned to the marketing table in exchange for a coupon for a free smoothie from Tropical Smoothie.
GATES OPEN
Gates open ninety minutes before the first pitch.

On-field access is limited to authorized personnel only. Any guest who is not authorized and attempts to access the field will be removed from English Field at Union Park immediately and may be subject to prosecution.

The Virginia Tech baseball games can be heard on 101.7 CBS Sports Blacksburg. The games are also streamed on hokiesports.com or on TuneIn (download the Tuneln radio app and search “Virginia Tech IMG Sports Network”).
RE-ENTRY
English Field at Union Park has a no re-entry policy. Guests are not permitted to leave the ballpark to chase foul balls and return at any time.
RESTROOMS
Restrooms are conveniently located throughout the ballpark on the concourse. A family restroom is located beside the first aid room on the concourse.
SMOKING POLICY
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited at English Field at Union Park.
TICKET SALES AND POLICY
Tickets for future Virginia Tech games at English Field at Union Park may be purchased in one of the following ways:
- In Person: Tickets are available at the ticket office located at Lane Stadium. Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- By Phone: Tickets are available by calling 540-231-6731.
- Online: hokietickets.com
- At the English Field at Union Park ticket office during all ACC games until the conclusion of the 5thinning.
There is a NO REFUND ticket policy at English Field at Union Park.
Handicap Seating
Handicap seating is located in sections 101, 107, 203, and 204.
Rain Checks
From time to time a game may be suspended or canceled due to weather conditions. If a game is suspended or canceled before becoming a complete game according to the rules of baseball, ticket holders will be granted admission to the next regularly scheduled home game using the ticket stub for the suspended or canceled game for admission.
