Hokies down Marshall, 6-1

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Virginia Tech women’s tennis team downed Marshall 6-1 on Friday afternoon at the Huntington Tennis Club.

Tech (4-0) won the doubles point with Caroline Daxhelet and Natalie Novotna pairing up on court one to defeat Stephanie and Anna Smith 6-1. Marshall (0-5) did not field a team on court three, so the Hokies secured that match to win the point.
