Tech to host Missouri
Women's tennis set for noon Saturday

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech women’s tennis team is set to host Missouri on Saturday, Feb. 3 in a noon match at Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.

THE HOKIES (2-0, 0-0 ACC)
Virginia Tech is coming off a 2-0 opening weekend doubleheader. Tech swept ETSU, winning all six singles and all three doubles matches. The Hokies followed up with a 5-2 win over Appalachian State later in the day. Natalie Novotna (ranked 25th), Katherine Butler, Nika Kozar and Nina Sorkin all went undefeated in singles over the two matches.
THE TIGERS (5-0, 0-0 SEC)
Missouri is also coming off an undefeated weekend, sweeping Army and Binghamton 4-0 last Saturday. Clare Raley, Serena Nash, Mackenzy Middlebrooks and Ellie Wright all went undefeated for the Tigers.
The Tigers are unranked in singles, but Raley and Nash are 47th in the ITA doubles rankings.
Up Next: The Hokies take to the road for the first time this spring, traveling to Marshall on Saturday, Feb. 10 for a 4 p.m. match.
