Novotna ranked in final ITA fall standings

BLACKSBURG – Sophomore Natalie Novotna is ranked 25th in the end of fall ITA singles standings, heading into the spring dual season.
Novotna had a strong fall season, winning the ITA Atlantic Region and competing in the ITA Fall National Championships. In the finals of the regional, Novotna defeated UVA’s Rosie Johanson who was then-34th. At the national event, Novotna knocked off the nation’s then-4th Sara Daavettila of North Carolina. She followed up with a win over 115th Chiara Lommer of Michigan.
Novotna and the rest of the Hokies will be back on the court on January 26, hosting a doubleheader with ETSU and Appalachian State.
