Tech hosts Hokie Invite, travels to Lakewood Ranch Clay Court
Women's tennis to wrap up fall slate

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech women’s tennis team will wrap up the fall slate this weekend, hosting the Hokie Fall Invite while the seniors travel to the Lakewood Ranch Clay Court.
Tech will host its annual Hokie Fall Invite beginning Friday at 9 a.m. Competing for the Hokies are Shene Disbergen, Fallon Delp, Nina Sorkin, Sarah Baron, Nika Kozar, McKenzie Collins, Nancy Ghanem and Luisa Uscocovich.
Joining the Hokies at the event are ODU, JMU, Wofford, Liberty, Miami (OH), Radford, VCU, George Washington and Penn State.
Friday will feature two rounds of doubles and one round of singles. Saturday’s schedule has one round of each with Sunday featuring the finals. All three days will begin at 9 a.m.
Katherine Butler, Caroline Daxhelet and Elena Cerezo-Codina will represent the Hokies at the Lakewood Ranch Clay Court in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Joining Tech are players for the 32 singles draw are players from Oklahoma State, USF, Boston College, Florida Gulf Coast, UCF, Clemson, Florida, Appalachian State, TCU and Liberty.
Competition will begin at 10 a.m. and will feature two rounds of singles on Friday.
