Tech concludes play at ITA All-American

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – The Virginia Tech women’s tennis team concluded play on Wednesday at the 2017 ITA Women’s Tennis All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, California.

Tech’s 53rd-ranked duo of Elena Cerezo-Codina and Caroline Daxhelet faced 21st-ranked Felicty Maltby and Gabriela Talaba of Texas Tech. The Red Raiders pair secured the 8-4 victory in the qualifying doubles consolation bracket.

The Hokies will be back on the court Oct. 6-8 at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
