Tech concludes competition at Bedford Cup

Hokies back on the court next weekend at Big 5 Challenge

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Virginia Tech women’s tennis team wrapped up competition on Sunday at the Bedford Cup Mid-Atlantic in College Park, Maryland.

McKenzie Collins and Fallon Delp were on the court for the Hokies on Sunday in the consolation doubles draw. In the semifinals, Collins and Delp knocked off Delaware’s Arielle Shuren and Sarah Whited 6-3.

In the finals, the Tech duo faced off against VCU’s Melissa Ifidzhen and Paola Delgado, falling to the Rams’ pair 6-2.

The Hokies will be back on the court next weekend, Sept. 22-24 at the Big 5 Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas.
