Cerezo-Codina, Pacholski, Butler and Barton make up 2014 freshman class

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech women’s tennis team and head coach Terry Ann Zawacki-Woods announced the addition of four newcomers for the fall of 2014. Elena Cerezo-Codina, Lena Pacholski, Katherine Butler and Sloan Barton will join the Hokies this fall.

"We are very excited to add Sloan, Katherine, Elena, and Lena to our program next fall,” Zawacki-Woods said of her newcomers. “All are very accomplished student-athletes, both on and off the court and will add tremendous depth to our team. We are looking forward to their arrival on campus and can't wait to watch them continue to develop during their time in Blacksburg as Hokies."

Cerezo-Codina hails from Almeria, Spain and trained for four years at the Madrid Tennis Federation while attending high school at Ortega y Gasset.
