Hokies to face Duke in ACC Tournament
Tournament to be played in Cary, N.C

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Virginia Tech women’s tennis team will face Duke in the first round of the ACC Tournament on Thursday, April 25 at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.. The Hokies finished 11th in the ACC while Duke earned the six seed in the tournament. The match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.

North Carolina finished atop the conference and the Tar Heels, along with Clemson, Virginia and Miami, the top four teams in the conference, received first-round byes.

The Hokies and Blue Devils matched up earlier this season in Durham, and Tech fell to the No. 7 Blue Devils, 4-1, after claiming the doubles point but falling in singles play.
