MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Virginia Tech women’s tennis player, Katie Blow claimed the flight B singles title on Sunday at the Martha Thorn Invitational in Morgantown, W.Va.

In the final match, Blow picked up a straight set win over Pitt’s Molly Wickman. Blow claimed the win with scores of 6-3, 6-1.

In doubles play, Emily Lauten and Isel Martinez-Marcos paired up in the A flight consolation bracket third place match, facing host team West Virginia’s pair, Ikttesh Chahal and Emily Mathis. Tech defeated the Mountaineer duo, 8-3.

The Hokies will be back on the court Oct. 14-15 at the Davidson Tournament in Davidson, N.C.
