MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Virginia Tech women’s tennis team wrapped up the second day of competition at the Martha Thorn Invitational in Morgantown, W.Va. with Katie Blow advancing to the singles flight B finals.

The Hokies’ senior claimed a 7-6, 6-2 win over West Virginia’s Veronica Cardenas. Blow advances to face Pitt’s Molly Wickham in the finals on Sunday.

Blow also teamed up with Tea Ivanovic for a win in doubles as the pair moves into the finals of the doubles flight A consolation bracket. The Tech tandem defeated WVU’s Ikttesh Chahal and Emily Mathis, 8-4.

The tournament will conclude on Sunday with doubles beginning at 9 a.m.
