BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech women’s tennis team will conclude the fall schedule this weekend at the Knight Invitational. The Friday through Sunday event is being played at the University of Central Florida Tennis Complex and includes players from North Florida, Stetson, Virginia Tech and the host Knights.

Tech players participating in the tournament include: Shannon Betts, Martha Blakely, Katie Blow, Yasmin Hamza, Tea Ivanovic, Holly Johnson, Emily Lauten and Isel Martinez-Marcos.

Following this weekend’s action, the Hokies will open the dual match season on Jan. 30, 2011, at home against Richmond (10 a.m.) and UNC Greensboro (3:30 p.m.).
