Tech concludes play at Kitty Harrison Invitational
Hokies complete fall schedule

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Virginia Tech women’s tennis completed play on Sunday in the Kitty Harrison Invitational with sophomore Martha Blakely posting the lone win of the day. The tournament was hosted by the University of North Carolina and held at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center where both indoor and outdoor courts were utilized. Matches were also played at Duke University’s Amble Tennis Stadium and Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center.

The tournament featured players from Duke, Florida, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina, NC State, Princeton, TCU, Virginia, Virginia Tech and William & Mary. Each player participated in four rounds of singles and four rounds of doubles. There was no team scoring in the event.

The Hokies return to action on Jan. 27, when they open the dual match season hosting Elon.
