Hokies set for NCAA Austin Regional

The Virginia Tech Hokies begin play in the 2018 NCAA Austin Regional on Monday morning. The three-day tournament will be played Monday-Wednesday at the University of Texas Gold Club in Austin, Texas.

This is the Hokies' first-ever NCAA appearance, in just their third year of competition. Tech is earned an at-large bid out of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The Hokies are the 14th seed in the 18-team field in Austin. The top six teams and top three individuals not on an advancing team will advance to the 2018 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship, to be held May 18-23 at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

The tournament will consist of 54 holes of stroke play, 18 holes each day with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. CT. Live scoring will be available on Hokiesports.com, via a link from Golfstat.com.
