BLACKSBURG, Va. – Two Hokies, Elizabeth Bose and Whitney Stevenson, were named to the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar list Tuesday. The prestigious list includes 828 women from across the nation that have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA.
Freshman Elizabeth Bose was consistent all season long, shooting an eagle on the last day of the ACC Championship to end her year. Bose tied the team-high 10 events played and 30 rounds in her rookie season. Bose had a top-10 finish at the Cardinal Cup, two top-20 finishes and two top-50 finishes.
Junior Whitney Stevenson led the Hokies at the ACC Championship in April. Stevenson was in the lead for Tech for two consecutive rounds of the tournament.
