Stevenson leads Hokies after first round
Hokies in 12th place after day one at ACC Championship

GREENSBORO, N.C.. – The Virginia Tech golf team wrapped up the first round at the ACC Championship on Friday and sit in 12th place.

Junior Whitney Stevenson led the Hokies on day one and sits in a tie for 12th place after shooting a two over 74 in the first round. Stevenson had a team-high 10 pars and three birdies on the day. Amanda Hollandsworth joined Stevenson in the top 50, sitting in 43rd place after a six over 78.

The Hokies return to action on tomorrow, teeing off at 8 am paired with Louisville and Notre Dame. Fans can follow along live on GolfStat.com here and, beginning at 2 p.m., can watch live play on here on ESPN3.
