Tech in tie for 15th after second round
Donovan low man for Hokies for second consecutive round

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Virginia Tech women’s golf team sits in a tie for 15th-place after two rounds at the Hurricane Invitational with 18 holes to play.

Nicolette Donovan was the team’s lowman for the second straight round, finishing in a tie for 20th. Donovan’s two-over second round puts her nine strokes out of the lead. Together with teammate Elizabeth Bose, the pair accounts for 46 even-par holes, with Donovan adding a team-high six birdies.

The Hokies will hit the links at 8 a.m. on Wednesday for the final 18 holes, paired with Texas Tech and Baylor.
