TALLAHASSEE, Fl. – The Hokies sit in ninth place after the first day of the Florida State matchup after shooting a 19-over 307 in the first round.

Whitney Stevenson and Nicolette Donovan were the team’s low men on Friday, shooting four-over 76s to finish in a tie for 26^th place. Allison Woodward trailed close behind, finishing with a five-over 77 in a tie for 35^th.

The Hokies will tee off Saturday with partners James Madison for the second day of the matchup, sitting 14 shots out of the lead.
