KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – Freshman Nicolette Donovan shot up the leaderboard Monday after shooting a team-low 70, rising 39 spots to land in a tie for seventh place.
Donovan’s two-under second round is her season low so far and she is second among the field on par 4 holes, averaging a 3.90. She also leads the Hokies with five birdies through 36 holes. Anne Taylor Hough and Elizabeth Bose rounded out Tech’s representatives in the top 75, coming in at 52 and 67 respectively.
The Hokies will take the course Tuesday morning for the final round of fall golf, entering the last 18 holes in 16th place. Live stats can be found on GolfStat
