Hokies in tie for 13th after first round
Bose leads Tech with one-over 73

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The Hokies are in a tie for 13th place after the first round of the Palmetto Invitational, sitting at 11-over. Tech was led by freshman Elizabeth Bose, whose one-over 73 earned her a spot in a tie for 23rd.

Bose was followed by Anne Taylor Hough and Nicolette Donovan, who sit in in a tie for 47th place at three-over. Donovan and Amanda Hollandsworth led the team with three birdies apiece. Allison Woodward and Hollandsworth rounded out the Hokie team, shooting four- and five-over, respectively.

The Hokies will hit the links beginning at 9:15 Monday morning, with Hollandsworth leading the way for Virginia Tech. Live stats are available through GolfStat.
