WILMETTE, Ill. – The Hokies wrapped up competition at the Windy City Classic on Tuesday, securing a 15th place finish in the second fall tournament for Virginia Tech’s women’s golf program.

Redshirt freshman Amanda Hollandsworth was the team’s low man for the final round, shooting one-under 71. Hollandsworth led the team with 11 birdies on the weekend and had one of four eagles in the tournament field.

Freshman Elizabeth Bose finished in a tie for 14^th, recording her second top-15 finish in as many outings. Bose shot two-over in her final round, giving her the team’s overall low score of -2 on the weekend.

The Hokies will return to action on Monday, October 19, when they face the field at the Carindal Cup, hosted by ACC foe Louisville at the University of Louisville Golf Course in Louisville, Ky.
