GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Hokies wrapped up competition at the Lady Paladin Invitational on Tuesday, securing a seventh place finish in the first varsity competition for Virgnia Tech’s women’s golf program.

Redshirt freshman Amanda Hollandsworth was the team’s low man for the final round, shooting one-over with a team-high four birdies. After strong play all weekend, her strong third round catapulted her into a tie for 10^th place overall, finishing at five-over for the weekend.

Freshman Elizabeth Bose trailed Hollandsworth by one stroke on Tuesday, shooting a 74 to round out an even 75-73-74 tournament. Bose landed in a tie for 14^th place, giving the Hokies two finishers in the top 15.

Redshirt freshman Allison Woodward finished at four-over Tuesday with two birdies of her own, giving her a three-day total of +11 and earning a 38^th place finish. Freshman Nicolette Donovan, the team’s low-man on days one and two, rounded out Tech’s top-50 finishers, tying for 43^rd at 13-over.

The Hokies will return to action on Monday, October 5, when they take on the field at the Windy City Classic at Westmoreland Country Club in Chicago, Ill.
