Hokies head to S.C. for Lady Paladian Invitational
Virginia Tech women's golf program to tee off for first time Sunday

GREENVILLE, S.C. – For the first time in Virginia Tech history, the women’s golf team will begin NCAA competition on Sunday at the Lady Paladian Invitational, hosted by Furman University. The Hokies will tee off at 10:21 am, led by head coach Carol Robertson. Live scoring will be available on www.BirdieFire.com. Results will also be posted on the Furman Athletics website at the conclusion of each round.

Head coach Carol Robertson will lead the Hokies into the first tournament in the fall after two years as head coach at Old Dominion. While with the Monarchs, Robertson led her teams to five tournament titles in her two seasons, including three tournament titles this past season. Made up of three true freshmen, two redshirt freshmen and a lone junior, the Virginia Tech women’s golf program will compete at four fall tournaments and five spring events leading up to the ACC Championship.
