Tech wraps up the nine-day event

EUGENE, Ore. – Virginia Tech track standout Keith Ricks advanced to the semifinal round, but was eliminated from the 200-meter dash on Saturday at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore.

Ricks ran a time of 21.39 to finish 20th overall and seventh in the third heat. The top eight times advanced to Sunday’s finals. Maurice Mitchell recorded the top time in the semifinal at 20.43.
