GREENSBORO, N.C. – Virginia Tech freshman Victoria von Eynatten (Leinfelden, Germany) has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Track & Field Performer of the Week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday.

On Saturday, von Eynatten won the pole vault with an indoor personal best and NCAA automatic qualifying height of 14 feet, four inches (4.37m) at the VT Challenge. Her mark also reset her own school record, set earlier this season, and ranks tied for third in Division I. She is the third Hokie to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championship this season, joining All-American men’s weight throwers Marcel Lomnicky and Alexander Ziegler.

The Hokies will compete in the ACC Indoor Championship this weekend (Feb. 23-25) at the Reggie Lewis Track Center in Boston, Mass.
