Jodon finishes runner-up in pole vault at Sea Ray Relays
Hokies finish second, third and fourth

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. The Hokie pole vaulters finished second, third and fourth in the invitational section of the men’s pole vault on the second day of the Sea Ray Relays in Knoxville, Tenn., Saturday.

Junior Jared Jodon led the Hokies with a runner-up finish in the event, clearing 17-02.75. Senior Yavgeniy Olhovsky also cleared 17-02.75, but finished third due to more misses at previous heights. Junior Hunter Hall took fourth with a vault of 16-10.75. On Friday, teammate Mike Miller won the open section of the men’s pole vault with a clearance of 16-02.75.

Tech next competes at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Clemson, S.C., on April 15-17. Results will be available on hokiesports.com.
