BLACKSBURG, Va. – Senior Queen Harrison earned the 2010 ACC Women’s Indoor Track MVP, the conference announced on Friday, after record-breaking showings at the ACC Championships on Feb. 25-27 in Blacksburg, Va.
Harrison, already having a terrific 2010 campaign, continued her strong season in the 60-meter hurdles and the 400-meter dash last weekend. The Richmond, Va., native clocked a personal, Virginia Tech and ACC meet record in the 60-meter hurdles with an NCAA automatic-qualifying time of 7.94 seconds, winning her first individual ACC title. The time is currently the top mark in the nation and is tied for seventh-fastest in the world.
