High school: Graduated from Blacksburg … Took second at the River Ridge Quad in the 400 meters … Won the 800-meter run at the Tri-Cities Track Classic … Finished sixth in the 800 meters at the VHSL 3A State Championship, after finishing first at the VSHL 3A West Regional … Was a part of the the 4x800-meter relay team that won state at the VSHL 3A State Championship.
