Former Hokie trio competes at USA Indoor Track & Field Championships
The Notebook
Albuquerque, N.M. - At the U.S. Indoor Track & Field Championships, Kristi Castlin was the top finisher of the Hokie alumni competing this weekend at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
As it has become a common occurrence in recent years, former teammates and training partners, Castlin and Queen Harrison squared off again in the 60-meter hurdles. Castlin recorded the top time of the prelims, but was edged out in the finals as she came in second at 7.97. Harrison wasn't too far behind as she finished in fourth at 8.00.
In the finals of the men's 60 meters, Keith Ricks was just shy of his personal record, clocking in at 6.62 for a fifth place.
