Responsibilities: Swanhart is the academic coordinator for the sports of baseball, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, and the men’s and women’s tennis teams. He also is responsible for the oversight of the study hall program.

Prior to Virginia Tech: Swanhart worked as an intern at Florida Atlantic University in the SAASS area

At Virginia Tech: In addition to working with baseball, swimming and diving and tennis, Swanhart also has worked in various capacities with the men’s soccer and softball teams at Tech.

Education: Rowan University, 2005 (B.A. in communications); Barry University, 2007 (masters in sport management).

Personal: A native of Trenton, New Jersey, Swanhart, lives in Christiansburg with his wife Stacey and their two children Madison and Chase. In his spare time, Swanhart enjoys reading and watching his favorite professional sports teams (the Heat, Dolphins and Marlins).
