Responsibilities: Smith provides administrative support for the athletics communications office and for the staff of Inside Hokie Sports, a magazine produced by the athletics department. She manages the office’s budget, submits vouchers, takes subscription orders for the magazine and orders supplies for the office. She also plays an integral part in organizing the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame dinner each fall.

Personal: A native of Christiansburg, Va., Smith resides in Willis, Va., (Floyd County) with her husband, Terry. They have three sons — Tyler, Dustin and Guy.
