Responsibilities: Educating local and regional brands on the many avenues to connect with Hokie Athletics. Sam works directly with Virginia Tech corporate partners to fulfill their goals and initiatives through their partnership with the Hokies.

Joined VT Athletics Staff: January 2016

Prior to Virginia Tech: Schauf’s last three years have been spent on the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers new stadium projects. Prior to that, he worked within the University of Nevada ticket sales department.

Education: Penn State University, Commercial Recreation/Business (2011)

Personal: Schauf grew up in Sparta, Wis. on the family dairy farm. He currently resides in Roanoke with his girlfriend Laura who attends Jefferson College of Health Science within their PA program. In their down time they enjoy staying active, spending time with friends & family, traveling, and taking in all of the great outdoors Virginia has to offer.
