Daniel Mervos enters his first season on the Virginia Tech coaching staff as graduate assistant. Mervos will be primarily working with the Hokie offense.

This past season, Mervos worked as a student assistant at his alma mater, Ave Maria University. Mervos was a four-year letter winner for the Gyrenes and was the first football recruit in the history of the program.

Mervos hails from Davie, Florida and was a two sport star at Cooper City High School.
