Responsibilities: Jon Jaudon is responsible for the areas of sport administration, and student life, while also serving as the department's liaison to the office of student conduct. He oversees the sports of baseball, men's soccer, men's and women's swimming and diving, and wrestling.

Prior to Virginia Tech: Jaudon served as an assistant athletics director at the University of Texas at Austin from 1997-1999. He also worked as an academic counselor at UT Austin from 1991-1997. Prior to his time in Austin, he served as an academic counselor at University of Florida from 1985-1991.
Education: University of Florida, 1983 (B.S. in education); University of Florida, 1985 (master's in sport administration).
Of Note: At Texas, Jaudon oversaw the academic programs for all of men's athletics programs. During his tenure at Texas, he personally counseled athletes in football, basketball and baseball.
Texas enjoyed unprecedented academic success during Jaudon's years of service. In 1996, Jaudon earned the James W. Vick Texas Excellence Award for academic advising.
While pursuing his graduate degree, Jaudon coached baseball at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Fla., from 1983-85.
Personal: A native of Bradenton, Fla., Jaudon and his wife, Marcia, live in Blacksburg. They have two children – daughter Megan and son-in-law Chance Mann, who live in Atlanta, and son Jared, who is in graduate school at the University of Oklahoma.
